We are pleased to be back at the Logan ranch for the 4th year.
Collin and Andrew will have a high difficulty event to challenge your skills with all natural terrain shooting in a spectacular venue with granite boulders, pine trees, gulleys, rocks and don’t forget a bit of that Wyoming wind. This match is going to be set up to test your limits of capability with very challenging shooting and target finding. If you are a new shooter, I recommend going to another match before coming to this event because we are intending to challenge the capability of your gear. With ample hiding places for targetry, distances averaging 500y, wind reading, ranging skill, and the ability to use natural terrain for shooting positions, this match may not have a high hit ratio.
That said, were do want you to have fun and will make sure that we have meals provided on site for lunch Saturday and banquet awards on Sunday. Total waking for any day should be less than 1 mile. If you have any questions or concerns about the match details please email me and I’ll help get you answers.
The MDs each have a decade of match setup and operations experience to make this one of the smoothest running events you’ll attend. With a high quality target package, we can keep failures and stoppages to a minimum and make sure you have time after the shooting on Saturday to enjoy some of the fabulous restaurants and micro breweries in Laramie.
Laramie and the Logan ranch will provide some of the best mountain training you can get at a match with the range elevation at 8000′ we could see some snow or late season fall like weather. Come prepared for anything between 20deg and snowy to 65 degrees and sunny as we help you learn how to handle your gear with 18-20 well placed and thought out blind stages.
There will be vendors on site during check in selling goods and offering demos. We will likely have another side stage available at the check in area on Friday and a specific prize for the winner of that.
The Logan’s will be cooking the banquet meal on site and have provided some of the best meals available at a match over the last couple years for us. Menu to be provided to shooters closer to match date.
No refunds will be available but if you need to sell your slot just keep us in the loop and we can adjust as needed.
